Kassidy (Kassi) Brown - Board Member at Large

Kassi is a passionate child and family advocate dedicated to helping children and families access the care, support, and resources they need to thrive. With a strong commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and compassionate care, she strives to ensure that every family feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.  Her passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. 

As a mother of two, Kassi has firsthand experience navigating the healthcare system and advocating for her daughter, who lives with arthritis. These experiences have given her a unique understanding of the challenges families can face when navigating complex healthcare needs and have strengthened her commitment to helping others feel confident and supported as they advocate for their children.  

Kassi believes meaningful advocacy begins with listening, building trust, and understanding each family’s individual needs. She is passionate about connecting families with appropriate resources, working collaboratively with professionals, and advocating for systems that place children and families at the center of care.  

Through her work, Kassi hopes to make a lasting difference—not only by helping families navigate challenges, but by empowering them to become strong advocates for their children. She believes every child deserves to be supported, every family deserves to have a voice, and no family should have to navigate difficult circumstances alone.
