The ARK Foundation is a 501c.3 non profit organization with a mission to provide financial support and advocacy for families of children living with rare, complex, or chronic medical conditions. We strive to enhance their quality of life and foster hope through awareness and collaboration.

Save the Date for 2026: July 19th, 2026
On July 27, 2025, The ARK Foundation hosted its inaugural Run for Rare 5K — and what an incredible day it was!
With over 100 participants in attendance, the event brought together families, friends, and community members to raise awareness for rare, chronic, and complex medical conditions. In fact, 80% of attendees shared they personally know a child with medical complexities, and 5% live with a rare disease themselves.
The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many already looking forward to next year. We're excited to announce that the 2026 Run for Rare 5K will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2026 — stay tuned for more details and registration information coming soon!
